Privacy policy
What we collect, why, who receives it and for how long, written to match what the software actually does.
Last updated 3 October 2026
1. Who we are
RadixOLT (“we”, “us”) provides software that internet service providers use to monitor and manage their OLTs and ONUs. This policy covers radixolt.com, the RadixOLT app, and the emails and messages the service sends.
Contact us at support@radixolt.com or +91 89567 38265.
2. Two kinds of personal data
Data about you as our customer: the people who sign up and the colleagues they add. We decide how this is used, and under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are its data fiduciary.
Data your ISP puts into RadixOLT about its own network and subscribers: ONU descriptions, customer records and the like. We process it only to provide the service to your ISP and on your ISP’s instructions. Your ISP decides what is collected about its subscribers and is the fiduciary for that data.
3. What we collect
When you sign up
Your name, your ISP’s name, your work email address, your phone number and a password, which is stored only as a one-way hash. To allow one trial per operator, we keep a hashed record of the email, phone number, ISP name and email domain used for a trial. That record is kept even if the account is later deleted, and it cannot be turned back into the details.
When you use the app
- Accounts you create for colleagues: name, email address and role.
- Sign-in sessions: when each was created and the browser it came from.
- The actions you take on your OLTs, which are recorded so they can be looked up afterwards.
When you contact us from this site
Your name, your ISP, your email address, your phone number if you give one, and the plan or the rough number of OLTs you chose.
To protect the forms
The network address a sign-up or an enquiry came from, stored only as a one-way hash and used only to limit how many can come from one network in a day.
Your network’s data, processed for your ISP
- OLT details your ISP enters: names, addresses, ports and models, and their login credentials and SNMP communities, which are encrypted before they are stored.
- What RadixOLT reads from the OLTs: ONU serial numbers and descriptions, which often hold a subscriber’s name or username, MAC addresses, optical readings, status and timings, and the output of the commands it runs.
- Alerts raised from those readings.
- Customer records your ISP imports from a spreadsheet or links from its RADIUS server: names, usernames, mobile numbers, addresses, plans, expiry dates, session status and map positions.
- Alert contacts: a Telegram bot token, which is encrypted, and a chat ID.
4. How we use it
To provide the service: reading your OLTs, raising and delivering alerts, drawing maps and linking subscribers to ONUs. To create and secure accounts. To answer your enquiries and set up the plan you choose. To send the emails the service needs, such as sign-up codes.
We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not build profiles of the people in it.
5. Who receives it
Only the providers the service needs to run, and only for the features your ISP uses:
- Our hosting provider, whose servers run the service and its database.
- Our email provider, which delivers sign-up codes and passes enquiries from this site to our inbox.
- Telegram, if your ISP sets up Telegram alerts. Each alert, including the subscriber’s username and the ONU’s serial, is sent to the chat your ISP chose through Telegram’s bot service, and Telegram handles it under its own terms.
- Google Maps Platform, if your ISP uses the plant map. Customer addresses are sent to Google’s geocoding service to place them on the map, and the map is drawn by Google in your browser.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces of the signed-in app, so Google receives your browser’s address when the app loads. This website serves its own fonts.
- Your ISP’s RADIUS server, if your ISP links one. Requests go only to the address your ISP gave.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
6. Cookies and browser storage
There are no advertising or analytics cookies and no third-party trackers on this site or in the app. The app keeps your sign-in tokens and your colour theme in your browser’s storage. This website remembers your colour theme, and whether its opening animation has played during this visit. None of it is used to follow you anywhere else.
7. Where it is stored
On servers run by our hosting provider.
8. How long we keep it
- Account and network data: for as long as your ISP’s account exists. When a trial ends without a plan, the data is kept so that you can carry on where you left off; ask us and we will delete it.
- Sign-ups that were never confirmed: deleted about a day after their code expires.
- The hashed trial record: kept, to enforce one trial per operator.
- Enquiries from this site: kept so we can follow up; ask us and we will delete them.
- Device read logs: kept while the account exists. There is no automatic expiry today.
When you ask us to delete your account, we delete its account and network data within 30 days of confirming the request came from you.
9. Security
Credentials are encrypted field by field, sessions are short-lived, and every request is scoped to your ISP on the server. The details, including what is not built yet, are on the security page.
10. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or completed, have it erased, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Write to support@radixolt.com.
If you are a subscriber of an ISP that uses RadixOLT, your ISP controls the data about your connection. Please ask them first; we will help them answer.
11. Children
RadixOLT is a tool for network operators and is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect a child’s personal data.
12. Grievances
Send a complaint about how your personal data is handled to support@radixolt.com with “Grievance” in the subject. We acknowledge it within two working days and answer it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may take it to the Data Protection Board of India.
13. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change affects how your data is used, we will also tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
